Yes you do. This agreement defines the terms and conditions of storing, the rental amount and your specific storage unit. This takes about 5 minutes and can be done on the day you move in.
It is best to book a space to make sure that there is one available the day you want to move in. Contact us to make a reservation.
Yes, as long as your unit size is available and you have completed the three steps in the 'What do I need to do before I move into a storage unit?' section.
You can move in yourself with a truck, car or trailer, or take the hassle away and use a removalist.
The minimum rental term is one month. The rental agreement is then automatically extended on a monthly basis. Ask about our pre-pay discount options.
Yes you do and you keep the keys to the padlock which you have placed on the door of your unit. You can purchase a padlock and other packing supplies from our in-store shop.
We will send an invoice prior to when your account is due. You can choose to receive these by mail or email. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, BPAY or sign up for direct debit - it's convenient and free.
Your account will incur a late fee and you will be denied access until your account is up to date. If you continue to not pay your account in full we reserve the right to access your goods for the purpose of recovering monies owed.
You can store almost anything as long as it fits in your space. There are however, some items that you cannot store and they include, but are not limited to:
Yes. Sinclair Storage takes pride in keeping your goods secure. We have security measures in place to ensure your goods stay safe.
Your goods are not automatically covered by insurance. Many household and contents insurance policies will cover your goods whilst in storage. Please check with your insurance company.
We require seven days notice before vacating the unit.
